Changing base plates on distributers

Post by Revell1 » Sat Jan 04, 2020 4:30 pm

I have just recently bought a replacement distributer with fixed pints and I was wondering If it's possible to change base plates to the sliding points which I found more reliable the old distributer is a genuine one the came with the car but gave me no problems even though it was worn and not giving the power it should have.

surprised nobody has replied to your query!
there shouldn't be an issue swapping base plates as the base dissy is the same.
